This is my favorite method of fire starting. It is reliable even in weak sunlight and adds negligible weight to your pack. ALWAYS carry several different types of fire starters.

Surprise Angry Alligator Encounter
Переглядів 3,4 тис.11 років тому
Join us on Facebook hiddenfloridaphotography I was paddling alone around a blind corner in the inflatable kayak when I surprised a nest of alligators. There were at least 13 healthy young plus mom and dad. This was a remote area, so they had likely never seen a human before. I backed off in a hurry but remained in the area until the family calmed down and allowed me to pass.

Hello! How long does it usually take before the fire appears?
Thank you for sharing !! What types of shells and pine pitch would you recommend for someone who wants to carrry camping? Thank you millions!
well done live in scotland only ever see smoke and sweat tell me more please
Thank you for this well-made, informative video!
It's pale white and looks like the one on swamp maple The other near it I think is turkey tail
I found a white bracket mushroom. Veined and no stem. Is it poisonous? Panhandle on doened oak
They need to be eradicated because now all these years since this video they're becoming aggressive towards humans for food and they're also pushing several NATIVE species towards endangerment and extinction. They're multiplying, carrying Herpes B Virus which is fatal to humans, and finding their way into people's backyards. They destroy crops and everything else as well. They need to be completely eradicated like they're doing to the other invasive species like pythons etc. They're NOT these cute, human-like creatures but aggressive, dangerous and destructive wild animals that do NOT belong here.
Frozen hydration Also tornado weather
Thank you for this video. We are from west Pasco Florida and my 7 year old loved this video. She kept asking questions as she watched and was very intrigued. Thanks!!

The upbeat music adds so much to this! 😛
Nicely explained buddy
They are pests that spread literally deadly Herpes (you will die if bitten and not treated), but they’re so God damn adorable that nobody wants to do anything about them. Tough situation, maybe we can vaccinate them or something?
0:54 that was definitely a positive lightning strike
It felt like a hard slap to the back of my neck from about 100 feet away.

Excellent! Subbed!
What did you use to make the sparks on the shroom
can i find this stuff in texas?? sorry i dont know much about it
Yes, was recently on the news that it is at White Rock Lake near Dallas. They are spraying it.
The herpes has to be disinformation. Is no many other countries these same exact things Waller all over peoples heads, roam in and out of their homes, enjoy massive feasts in festivals and are daily taken as babies or bigger to be pets as well as gathered up as much as possible to be sold all by hand. Yes the few are in America ohh no no they can’t be safe they have to have a deadly virus!😂😂😂probably time keep people from feeding etc but it’s way too late at this point...not like people don’t do that anyways..
Imagine accidentally picking those flowers
i read somewhere children where using the stems for spitballs i believe and they died probably a horrible death to very tragic
I wish I found this earlier instead of spending an hour researching to figure out that the weird plant in my yard is water hemlock 😭
They are a nuisance just like raccoons, squirrels etc. I think people should be able to have them as pets but the monkey should be neutered etc.
Thanks, found loads on my husband's parents farm.
Hiked next to a river and marshy area yesterday, must have got some of this crap on my hands and then rubbed my eyes, cuz I almost lost my sight in one eye, I was in excruciating pain, had to rush to see a Doctor it was so intense, didn’t realize what danger I was in being there,...better now but I ain’t going back again.
very cool
